With 2015 now in the rear view mirror, we look forward to making 2016 the best it can possibly be. We all have a clean slate and we are the masters of our own destiny; what an exciting time of year!
Here at Duke, we want you to live your best life and for you to be successful in all your endeavors. Sometimes taking on too much at once can be overwhelming, so experts suggest focusing on one or two resolutions at a time to maximize your chances of success.
Not sure what you want to focus on first? Health magazine recently put out a list of ten healthy resolutions that can give you some ideas. We pulled together a few of our favorites, coupled with resources in Mission that can help you achieve your goals.
As a rule of thumb, weight loss is generally 75 percent diet and 25 percent exercise. Fitness goals in mind, Talisman Centre has you covered. As the largest multi-sport complex of its kind in Canada, Talisman has something for everyone and for all levels. With tons of machines and equipment, a wide variety of group fitness classes, and personal training and nutrition resources available, Talisman will be able to help you achieve your goals.
Sign up before the end of January and you will get a free sports gift with your membership. 2016 is the year to Crush Your Excuses!
