Favourite thing about Auburn Bay or the SE?
I grew up in this end of the city! I love that Auburn Bay provides lake life in the summer and skating in the winter.
I’m 22, I work in new home sales and I have a degree in psychology.
Why you chose to call Canoe your home?
I was definitely attracted to the idea of a maintenance free lifestyle. Working in sales means I work odd hours, so it’s nice to not have to worry about home too much.
How you heard about us?
I work in the industry. Otherwise, it was all over my social media.
Your favourite thing about your new home?
The colour palette and functionality of the space.
Favourite sinful food?
What is the coolest thing about you?
Coolest thing…hmm… Well, I speak French and I was a kickboxer. I am also really well traveled!
Nicknames as a kid?
“Wheels” – It was a nickname given to me by my coaches.
Weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
When I was in Portugal, I was tricked into eating rabbit. I suppose that isn’t that weird for many people but I’m not really that adventurous when it comes to food.
Most embarrassing moment?
I went curling for the first time in high school for gym class and I slipped right out of the slider and braced myself by landing on my face. Yeah, the concussed version of me said some goofy things on the way to the hospital.
Most triumphant moment?
I think that graduating university with honors was pretty cool, performing CPR on a little boy who was drowning in a neighbour’s pool is up there, and buying this home at 22 seems alright too!
If you could have a super power what would it be?
I would like to read minds, I think that’s the psychology part of me though. Or perhaps I’m just nosy.
What do you think about the name Canoe? Love it or hate it? And Why?
Nothing wrong with a good ol’ row through Lake Louise – the name just reminds me of those outdoor adventures. So, I suppose I love it!
Thanks again, Jamie! It’s great to have such an amazing group of homeowners all under one roof.
Welcome to the Canoe family!
