Meet Nadine and Jordan who are proud new owners of the: 1Bed+Den A2. Here’s what they have to say about themselves and why they chose to call Canoe home.
Favorite thing about Auburn Bay or the SE?
We love that it is an up and coming area. Huge bonus that the dog park is walking distance!
Bio (tell us about yourself):
Classic romance story between small town kid and cute city gal. We spend our free time/money travelling. But when 11 hour flights aren’t possible we walk Layla, take her on hikes up mountains, or playing sports.
Why you chose to call Canoe your home?
Love the area. The building and landscaping look like they will be amazing. We wanted to start somewhere we could be proud to call home.
How did you hear about us?
Don’t be mad Mr. Avi, but we found your showhome by accident. We were looking for a different place . . .
Your favorite thing about your new home?
The team projects. We already started refurbishing/personalizing things to put in there to make it our own. Ground level, 5 minutes to the dog park, Co-op going in right next door. All added bonuses.
Favorite sinful food?
Nadine: Oreos and Milk
What is the coolest thing about you?
Nadine’s feet are usually the coolest. Followed closely by Jordan every morning after Nadine steals all the blankets.
Jordan: I play on a traveling hockey team. We have been to Hong Kong, Iceland, and Prague so far. I guess that’s pretty nifty.
Nadine: I am a photographer trying to start my own business. I think it is pretty special that I can still be surprised by how some photos turn out. It’s the uncertainty I love about it!
Nicknames as a kid?
Weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Nadine: Ostrich or Shark
Jordan: Whale or Chickens Feet
Most embarrassing moment?
Nadine: I grew up with an accent for years and no one could understand me until I was 5. My parents are Canadian and I was born here. Where did the accent come from?
Jordan: More of my friends have seen me naked than I care to admit.
Most triumphant moment?
Adopting our pooch.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
Teleportation. Neither of us are morning people. How awesome would it be to wake up and be at work in a matter of milliseconds.
What do you think about the name Canoe? Love it or hate it? And Why?
We poked fun at the name at first, but it’s grown on us. Reminds us of being on the lake, something we try to do as much as we can every summer.
Thanks again Nadine and Jordan!
It was a blast getting to know you, I’m sure we will be seeing lots of each other in the near future. Welcome to the Canoe family!
