Proud new owner of the:
One bedroom condo
Favourite thing about Auburn Bay or the SE?
The people, everyone is so nice where I go.
Bio (tell us about yourself):
I’m local but I’ve been living and traveling abroad the past two years. I have seen and done many amazing things, but I am so happy to be back in Calgary. I feel so lucky to be moving to Auburn Bay, it is like a dream.
Why you chose to call Canoe your home?
First- I am in love with the location and the future plans for the area. Second- the design, layout and size of the onebedroom unit was the best I found. Third- the extras that come with this building such as the courtyard outside and the finishing touches inside.
How you heard about us?
I stumbled upon the sales centre when I was checking out the neighbourhood. It was fate…
Your favourite thing about your new home?
I adore the openness and brightness. It has good energy.
Favourite sinful food?
Chocolate lava cake with ice cream and butterscotch sauce. Mmmmm
What is the coolest thing about you?
My ability to embrace diversity.
Nicknames as a kid?
Weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Molokheya, traditional Egyptian soup. It is slimy and green, but surprisingly tasty!
Most embarrassing moment?
Locking myself out of my apartment while in my pajamas and with my “crazy hair.”
Most triumphant moment?
Standing at the top of Mount Nyiragongo – active volcano in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with the largest lava lake in the world. Surreal.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
That’s easy, the ability to fly.
What do you think about the name Canoe? Love it or hate it? And Why?
It’s great! “Canoe” feels easy going, relaxed, carefree. How life should be!
Until next time,
