Calgary Public Library has started a new service offering a mobile library. The Library Book Truck brings books, movies, and many services to communities across the city.
The Book Truck will be making regular stops in Auburn Bay where residents can hop on and enjoy the following services:
- Free library card registration
- Browse and borrow books and movies
- Return library items
- Attend children’s programs (seasonal)
- Sit and read outside (seasonal)
The truck can accommodate five adults or eight children at a time and will be making stops in Auburn Bay starting February 9th between 4.30pm-6.30pm at the Auburn House parking lot. Services will be every other Tuesday from 4.30pm-6.30pm.
What a great way to put down our phones and get excited about books and reading. Come check it out!
