Duke at Mission: 90’s trivia night, theater arts, and live music

Apart from a little bit of snow over the weekend, we are being spoiled with some great weather this week! One of the great things about living inner-city is that there is always something new and exciting going on nearby, and the warm weather has made it super easy to hit the streets and explore the community. Get out there, have a laugh, and chase away any lingering #BlueMonday moods! This week’s fun downtown events are sure to put a smile on your face.

Trivia and games night at Wurst

The last Tuesday of every month Wurst teams up with It’s Date Night to host games night. This month’s theme is 90’s pop culture trivia, so break out your grunge garb, grab your beanie babies, and round up your pop culture savvy friends! Tickets are $20 and include one drink.

High Performance Rodeo International Festival of Arts

This is the last week for you to catch some of the amazing performances lined up at the High Performance Rodeo. Hosting local, national, and international performers, the festival features theatre, music, dance, comedy, and more. There is something for everyone, including family friendly events. Various venues and ticket prices. Check out www.hprodeo.ca for details.

BIG Winter Classic

Music lovers clear your weekend schedule because you won’t want to miss this event! Head down to Last Best Brewing & Distilling and Broken City this weekend for a three day event featuring four stages, two patios, one kick ass VIP lounge and 40+ bands… not to mention all the delicious craft beer! $70 gets you a general admission pass for the full three days. There are still a few tickets left, but hurry!

We hope you have an awesome week exploring the community. We plan to be out gaming, laughing, and dancing… and enjoying our downtown lifestyle. Definitely say hi if you see us out and about!
