Hello to all fellow Dukes and Duchesses!
I want to introduce you to Kassandra, our one and only area sales manager for Duke at Mission.
Not only is she the perfect spokeswoman for our development, but she even purchased in Duke at Mission, which is the best reassurance you could get in terms of confidence in the product!
Here’s a little about Kassy! And yet another reason for you to buy at Duke – awesome neighbours!
Name: Kassy M
Proud new owner of the: G Unit – 1 Bed 1 Bath
Favourite downtown hotspots? I love love love Anejo for their guacamole and chili lime margaritas, the Living Room is one of my go to spots and Proof is amazing to sit, snack and drink cocktails with friends. I’m always looking to try out new places in the area for dinner and drinks, so this neighbourhood keeps me on my toes with new places popping up to eat all the time.
Bio (tell us a bit about yourself): I’m originally from Ontario but have been living in Calgary since 2004. I have two little pups, Abby who’s a four year old Chorkie and Molly who’s a two year old Morkie. I love how Mission is such a pet friendly community, there’s lots of places to walk and play fetch by the river. I’ve been working for Avi Urban going on five years now and I couldn’t think of a better place to work and better product to represent. I have lived on and off in the Mission area over the past 10 years and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to finally own my first home in the area!
Your favourite thing about Mission? I love how everything that you could ever want and need is within walking distance in the community. Now I can take my cab budget and use it on one of my favourite things to do… trying new places to eat! Being close to the river pathways and parks for the dogs is something that is high on my list as well.
Nicknames as a kid? Pork chop…. don’t ask.
Weirdest thing you have ever eaten? I can’t think off the top of my head, but I have been told my scrambled egg, peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches are a little strange… SO GOOD!
Most embarrassing moment? Too many to say which was the most embarrassing. Most recent was getting my heel caught in a bar stool and falling off my chair just last week in the middle of a restaurant wearing a sombrero!
Most triumphant moment? Over the past year I’ve overcome a few obstacles and have had some major triumphant moments, but I’d have to say buying my condo at Duke has been the highlight of 2016 thus far!
If you could have a super power what would it be? I would love to be able to read people’s minds… or fly, or be invisible! Is being decisive a super power?
Favourite thing about The Duke? I’m a strong believer in Avi Urban’s product and the passion behind these amazing developments we build all over the city. With Duke, it wasn’t even a question when it came to having the opportunity to be the representation for AU and also for calling Duke my home. I love Mission, not sure if you got that from my answers up to this point. So when Duke started I knew I needed to get my hands on a home there. The finishings were exactly what I had envisioned for myself…the gas stove, lots of counter space, closet space, underground parking, pet friendly… it checked off all the boxes.
Until next time,
Jamie @ Duke
