It’s the time of the month again and I wanted to share with you what’s going on down at the Duke at Mission.
The next couple of weeks are full of excitement. This beautiful development is going to start taking shape…literally.
Over the next month we will see framing starting to take place. That’s an exciting step forward for any development as it means we finally get to see what Duke at Mission will look like as it sits on the site.
September 13th we are expecting the suspended slab to be poured. What I’ve learned is that a suspended slab is a combination of engineered reinforced concrete that is intended to be a main weight bearer. In this case we will have the slab poured to create extra reinforcement for the parkade and building.
On September 19th we are expecting our walls to be delivered which means we will officially be able to start piecing Duke at Mission together.
Then during the final week of September we are fully expecting to see the framers hard at work. Framing is estimated to take about two months.
Until next time,
Jamie @ Duke
