Edison At Walden: Calgary Transit in your neighborhood

Did you know that by using Calgary Transit, in 2012 greenhouse gas emmissions were reduced by over 320,000 tonnes vs. driving private vehicles? A single bus can can carry as many people as 41 cars and a three car train can carry over 600 passengers, equal to 545 private vehicle trips! That’s a lot of cars staying off the road in one day!

Only a walk away from your new Calgary Townhome you can catch bus route number 78 and 178. Both stops located just off 194th Ave and Walden Gate SE . The buses run every half hour, seven days a week and they will take you to Somerset/Bridlewood Train station. Calgary Transit does have plans to put a bus route into Walden and in the future the C-Train will make it’s way into Silverado and then to 210 Ave. You can find more info about fares and other routes on the Calgary Transit website.

Calgary is a city of almost 1.2 million people, by using Calgary Transit not only can we do our part to help the enviroment but can also save money!
