Our friend Josh Skapin, at the Calgary Herald, stirred up a great story for us on one of our homeowners, Mila Lopez, and her purchase in Jackson at Walden.

It’s not uncommon to find Mila Lopez’s kitchen taken over by preparation for a fresh batch of lasagna or steaming pot of homemade chili. She’s also partial to the sizzle of a good stir fry.
Lopez keeps her stove and oven busy and needed her new place to have a cooking space that will accommodate those chopping, mixing, dicing and sautéing needs. The 24-year-old first-time buyer found her needs met at Jackson at Walden.
The 150-townhouse development by award-winning multi-family developer Avi Urban. Jackson offers six floor plans that stand three storeys and start from the $300,000s. Lopez went for the Scarlet, which is a 1,162 model in a dual master-bedroom orientation with two bathrooms. It also has a single-car garage and a den on the ground level.
“I really liked the kitchen,” says Lopez. Along with cooking, she looks forward to using the functional U-shaped space to dabble in gluten-free baking.
“I’m excited for being able to get a stand mixer when I finally move and really explore my baking options using it,” she adds.
