With temperatures dipping in the negative double digits, we’re sharing a few tips to reduce humidity in your home by filtering it outside, and bringing fresh air in.
- Run your bathroom fans for a minimum of half an hour after you shower. This will help reduce the excess moisture in the air and limits the potential for condensation build-up.
- While cooking, ensure your hood-fan is running to limit indoor air pollution and diminish steam.
- Keep your blinds partially open to allow for airflow and minimize the risk of trapping vapor.
- Run your vent fan for a day to draw humidity outside the home.
