Sawyer Silverado: January 2014 Construction Update

We’ve had such a great start to the New Year with lots of action on site at Sawyer Silverado! Now that we’re coming down to our last available units for sale we have many homeowners excited to be taking possession or seeing the progress of their building. Here’s the first construction update of 2014 for these new SW Calgary condos. For details on construction terms.

BUILDING 1000:

Windows, doors and the shingling of the roof are finished and now we have started the exterior cladding of the building. We use James Hardie fibre cement siding on the entire building, which has a very nice curb appeal but also helps reduce maintenance costs overtime, as well as many other benefits.

Here’s a link that shows you just a few of the reasons why you want this product on the exterior of your home: http://www.jameshardie.com/homeowner/improveYourHome_why-settle-for-vinyl-siding.shtml

Rough-ins are complete on the main floor and we are now working on insulating the main floor! Next step will be drywall, what an exciting time for our homeowners in Building 1!

BUILDING 2000:

Slab on grade and suspended slab started this week. Once we have that completed we will be starting to frame!

BUILDING 3000:

Now that the slab on grade and suspended slab for the parkade are complete we are starting the parkade rough-ins. The first floor framing is complete and we have started the second floor framing, which should be complete in the next few weeks. Building 3 is starting to take shape and is looking great!

What an exciting time to come down to our sales center and check out the action! We still have some great floorplans and stellar locations left in our final building at Sawyer. If you’re still on the fence about making the next step, don’t wait too long and find yourself missing out on this great opportunity to own a home at Sawyer.

Nik and I are looking forward to seeing you at our presentation center and show suite!

See you soon,

Kassandra @Sawyer Silverado
